About the role

We are looking for an
AI Tech Lead
to join a strategic AI program within a large international environment.

In this role, you will combine
hands-on technical expertise with technical leadership
, leading a cross-functional AI squad of up to 6 engineers and helping shape the architecture, engineering standards, and delivery of production-ready AI solutions.

The main focus will be on
Generative AI, RAG, LLM-powered applications, scalable backend systems, and cloud-native AI solutions on Microsoft Azure
.

You will work closely with Product Owners, Data Scientists, frontend developers, business teams, and other technical stakeholders to turn business needs into robust, scalable, and reliable AI products.

, driving engineering quality, mentoring others, and taking ownership of architectural decisions.

What you’ll do

? Lead and coordinate a




cross-functional AI squad of up to 6 engineers
, ensuring alignment on technical direction, priorities, and delivery timelines

? Define and enforce
technical standards, engineering best practices, and architecture guidelines
across the squad

? Design and oversee the development of
scalable backend systems and APIs
supporting AI-powered applications

? Drive the design and implementation of
RAG architectures and LLM-based solutions

? Architect and validate cloud-based AI solutions using
Microsoft Azure

? Work with Azure services such as
Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB, and Azure Key Vault

? Ensure AI solutions are designed with
scalability, security, maintainability, and production readiness
in mind

? Conduct
code reviews
, provide technical mentoring, and support the upskilling of squad members

? Act as the technical interface between the engineering squad and stakeholders including
Product Owners,
