As part of its continued international growth, the company is looking for an
experienced Director of Engineering & Construction
to lead its E&C; activities across
Europe and Latin America
, based in Madrid - Spain.
The Role
As Director – Engineering & Construction, you will
provide strategic and operational leadership across the Engineering & Construction function
, overseeing the
planning
,
design
and execution of
utility-scale renewable energy projects
.
You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards, while developing a high-performing E&C; team and strengthening the company's construction capabilities across its international portfolio.
This is a senior leadership position, combining strategic responsibility with hands-on involvement in project delivery and construction.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the Engineering & Construction strategy
across Europe and LATAM.
- Lead
and
develop
the
E&C;
organisation
, ensuring the right capabilities and resources are in place.
- Work
closely
with the
Development and Commercial teams
on new greenfield opportunities and project tenders.
- Support the company’s growth strategy by strengthening its project execution capabilities.
Engineering & Construction Delivery:
- Oversee the
planning
,
engineering
,
construction
and completion of
renewable energy projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed timelines, budgets, quality requirements and technical standards.
- Establish and implement effective project management and construction processes.
- Monitor project performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
Team Leadership:
