Production Control Clerk / Service Writer

Amentum is seeking a Production Control Clerk / Service Writer to support a unique US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia. The Production Control Clerk is responsible for creating, updating, and data input of custom reports/information databases used for the purpose of monitoring/inducting of military and civilian equipment. Works directly with the Production Control Supervisor and the Maintenance Manager.

Job Responsibilities:
- Input, update and export information in/with GCSS Army or government approved LIS.




- Performs accurate data entry and reporting of vehicles assigned to the program are performed 100% of the time.
- Generate custom equipment tracking databases/spreadsheets.
- Provide logistical/administrative support to management.
- Create, update, and deliver reports to management.
- Supports / participates in the Company Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) and QA Program.
- Ensure all records of maintenance are maintained in historical jackets and within the computerized maintenance management system GCSS-ARMY and other approved systems, to include requests for disposition, classification, controlled exchange, and cannibalization documentation.
- Mentors and assists with on-the-job training and cross-training.
- Comply with all Company rules, policies and procedures.
