R&D; Team Lead – Robotic Software Engineering
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). This role is contributing to the Sevensense by ABB team as part of ABB Robotics in Spain and Switzerland. Supporting the Robotic Systems team by developing, maintaining and scaling automated test execution pipelines across virtual and HIL environments.
Optimizing the backend of our on‑premise map sharing solution.
3+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
~ Degree in Computer Science, Robotics or a related field.
~ You are at ease communicating in English.
~ Experience with Python and at least one compiled language like Rust or C++.
~ Expertise with DevOps topics like containerization, virtualization, OS deployment and configuration on Linux and Debian‑based distributions.
~ Bonus points for experience with web backend (REST), frontend (React),



agentic engineering, IPv4 networking.
~ Bonus points for familiarity with robotics, ROS2, embedded Linux (Jetson).
