At SD Supply Chain Talent, we are currently looking for a Buyer / Project Manager for one of our clients based in Barcelona , with professional experience in oem/car brands and/or Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive suppliers.

The position combines purchasing and supplier management with project coordination, working cross-functionally with different areas of the organization and participating in strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

- Management and negotiation with strategic suppliers.
- Coordination of purchasing activities related to projects.
- Monitoring of projects, milestones, KPIs, and objectives.
- Liaison with internal and external teams.
- Identification and proactive management of risks.
- Follow-up of action plans and resolution of issues.
- Data analysis and preparation of reports.




- Development and continuous improvement of purchasing processes and procedures.
- Participation in building and developing the structure of the department.
- Management of systems, databases, and tracking tools.

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing , with solid experience in supplier negotiation and commercial relationship management, and at least 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing related companies (oem’s, tier1 or tier2)
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration and Management, or equivalent .
- B2+ level of English or higher .
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including pivot tables.
