Job Description
General Master Data Expert's core mission is to execute data governance activities across the whole Galderma's organization for the data scope within her/his remit. This includes data related activities from data definitions, data flow management through different systems, data owners, users and data consumers support cross organization, supervision of data quality and execution of data governance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
User Support & Data Governance Execution
Support the implementation of the data governance roadmap.Act as first-line support for Global Product Master Data, addressing data quality queries and issues.Collaborate with business and functional area owners to enhance the data quality and value of core data assets.Develop and maintain up-to-date training materials. Deliver training sessions as required.Contribute to communication strategies that promote company-wide awareness of proper data management practices.
Data Quality Assurance




Define data standards and practices in alignment with impacted functions to ensure completeness, consistency and accuracy of data.Contribute to the development of performance indicators and data quality metrics.
Data Dictionary Management
Create and maintain a centralized enterprise data dictionary with clear definitions, business rules, and usage guidelines.Ensure alignment between technical and business terminology.Establish processes for capturing and maintaining metadata related to product master data entities.Coordinate with stakeholders to manage updates and communicate changes effectively.Provide guidance and training to teams using the data dictionary.Act as a point of contact for clarifications and best practices.
Data Change Management & Improvement
Supervise and coordinate data-related change requests, ensuring alignment with stakeholders on prioritization, solution design, and implementation.Analyze the impact of proposed data changes
