About the team

Our In-House Controls (IHC) team within World-Wide Central Engineering develops, deploys, and scales automated solutions globally. We deliver pioneering solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing and new facilities worldwide. IHC will develop and deploy the software for all future WW AMZL automation, from software design through to commissioning and deployment and operational on-call support. integrator-agnostic control systems for all AMZL automation, reducing the requirement to develop and maintain bespoke solutions for each piece of automation.
- Control of development, deployment, fault finding and future upgrades, removing dependency on vendors.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Knowledge of at least one modern object-oriented programming language such as C++, Java, Objective C
- Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)-controlled automation and issue diagnosis in a continuous process or production environment, or experienc
