Autonomous Vehicle Test Driver

Training:Will require an initial 4-6 week paid training program in the United States. _The training location will be in Orlando, Florida._

About the role

We are recruiting drivers to support autonomous vehicle operations in Europe. This is a long-term role for responsible, safety-oriented drivers who can follow procedures consistently, stay focused during repetitive operational tasks, and document their observations clearly and accurately.

Key responsibilities
- Safely monitor and operate autonomous vehicles (AVs) in line with project procedures and safety standards.
- Take manual control of the vehicle when required by the operational process.
- Follow assigned routes, test plans, and shift instructions.
- Observe vehicle behaviour and surrounding road conditions with a high level of attention.
- Record incidents, route observations, and other operational feedback accurately.
- Submit clear written reports and support the collection of operational data.
- Use smartphones,



in-vehicle systems, and standard digital reporting tools as part of daily work.
- Be able to troubleshoot AVs as required should functions not operate as planned, including performing simple system restarts. Requires strong technical knowledge and background.
- Maintain a professional and safety-first approach at all times.

Requirements:
- Valid EU/EEA Category B driving licence. License should be issued and valid for a minimum of 5 years (new license holders 0-4 years not eligible)
- At least 21 years old (to meet the legal age and licensing requirements)
- Must be able to pass a complete background check up to the last 10 years along with continued background checks conducted on a quarterly basis.
- Must be able to pass and complete a drug & alcohol test at the time of hire and be able to pass random drug/alcohol testing monthly
- Must be able to pass the breathalyzer analysis testing before and after shift
