Amentum is seeking a Grounds Laborer to support a unique US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia. The Silk Screen Operator / Press Operator is responsible for operating silk screen and press equipment to produce printed materials in accordance with Navy quality standards and production requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Set up screens, prepare inks, align materials, and operate manual or automated presses to produce accurate, high‑quality prints.
- Monitor press operations, adjust settings as needed, and inspect finished products to ensure color accuracy, registration, and overall print quality.
- Follow established production schedules, maintain consistent output, and ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.
- Clean and maintain screens and press equipment, manage ink and supply inventory, document production output, and maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Support mission‑driven printing and production needs in a remote environment.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned that are consistent with the nature and level of the position.





Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in silk screen printing, press operations, or related production environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of screen preparation, ink handling, and press operation
- Ability to follow production specifications and quality standards
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods and handling materials
- Must possess a valid passport and be able to travel internationally
- Passport must be valid for at least one year beyond hire date
- Ability to obtain country‑specific visa(s) in accordance with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide
- Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
