We are working with a high-growth AI-driven FinTech/RegTech business that develops sophisticated AML, fraud prevention and financial crime technology for banks, fintechs and enterprise organisations globally.
They are looking for a Product Engineer who can operate at the intersection of Product, Engineering and Financial Crime. Someone with strong AML domain knowledge who is technically comfortable working with engineering teams to turn complex regulatory and operational requirements into scalable product capabilities.
This is a technically focused product role, rather than a traditional commercial Product Manager position. You'll work closely with software engineers, technical teams and AML specialists across a platform using machine learning,
behavioural analytics and real-time transaction processing to detect suspicious activity and financial crime at scale.
What you'll be working on
Own and evolve product capabilities across AML and Financial Crime
Work extensively across transaction monitoring, sanctions/screening and fraud detection
Translate complex AML, regulatory and customer requirements into technical product requirements
Partner closely with Software Engineering on solution design, functionality, technical feasibility and delivery
Define requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and product priorities
Contribute to the technical roadmap and prioritisation of new platform capabilities
Understand how AML rules, workflows, data and detection models translate into software functionality
Work with customers and internal teams to identify gaps and improve existing AML capabilities
Balance regulatory requirements, technical constraints, customer needs and product scalability
