Role Summary:
We are looking for a Senior SAP Indirect Tax Consultant with strong SAP FICO expertise and proven experience in indirect taxation, statutory requirements, and cross-module integration within SAP S/4HANA environments.
In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex tax and business requirements into effective SAP solutions, with a particular focus on VAT/GST, tax determination, FI/SD/MM integration, SAP DRC, and external tax engines such as ONESOURCE or Sovos.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other SAP functional experts to ensure accurate tax determination, regulatory compliance, and reliable end-to-end tax processes across high-volume transaction environments.
Role Requirements:
- 8+ years of SAP FICO implementation experience




- At least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP FI, including integration with SD and MM
- Proven expertise in SAP Indirect Tax, particularly VAT/GST
- Strong knowledge of tax determination and condition technique in SAP S/4HANA
- Solid understanding of tax and statutory requirements in Germany and other EU countries
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Knowledge of SAP DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance) is highly desirable
- Experience with external tax engines such as ONESOURCE or Sovos is an advantage
- Understanding of digital reporting, e-invoicing, and SAF-T requirements
- ABAP debugging skills for troubleshooting tax calculation and interface issues are preferred
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate complex tax regulations and business requirements into clear functional specifications
- Fluent English – writ
