About the Role




We are currently seeking an Associate or Senior Editor with experience in environmental research to join Communications Earth & Environment ( At Communications Earth & Environment - a fast-growing multidisciplinary open access journal for the Earth, planetary and environmental sciences - we recognise and champion brilliant work and help our articles to have the impact they deserve. The journal complements our other Nature Portfolio titles, Nature Communications and Scientific Reports as well as the npj’s.

You will be responsible for selecting and preparing manuscripts for publication. You will also promote the journal’s coverage of all fields within the Earth and environmental sciences, with a particular focus on the environmental sciences.

The position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis (starting as soon as possible), and will be based in our Nanjing, Shanghai or Beijing offices in China, or in our Madrid office in Spain (with hybrid working).
