About the Opportunity
A general life sciences organisation is seeking a Junior Digital Technology Project Manager to support the implementation of clinical digital systems, including Certara and Veeva. This role is ideal for candidates with a solid foundation of experience in project coordination or junior project management experience, particularly in regulated environments.
You will work closely with a project lead during onboarding and progressively take ownership of defined workstreams. The position supports cross‑functional, multi‑regional projects involving business teams, IT, quality, data privacy, regulatory stakeholders, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
- Maintain project plans, milestone roadmaps, dependency logs, and delivery calendars.
- Track RAID items and follow up with owners.
- Coordinate implementation activities: requirements confirmation, configuration readiness, testing preparation, UAT, cutover, go‑live, and hypercare.
Execution & Delivery
- Monitor progress, identify blockers, and escalate risks early.
- Facilitate alignment between clinical business teams and technical delivery teams.
- Support training readiness, communication planning, and knowledge‑transfer sessions.
Governance & Reporting
- Prepare agendas, minutes, decision logs, action trackers, and status reports.
- Provide clear, concise updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Maintain transparent communication across functions and vendors.
Risk, Issue & Change Control
- Maintain the RAID log and support mitigation planning.
- Identify risks related to validation, data, training, adoption, privacy/security, or vendor delivery.
- Support structured change control and impact assessments.
Quality, Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure documentation is audit‑ready and compliant with regulated‑system expectations.
- Coordinate requirements records, test evidence, training records, go‑live checklists, and decision logs.
- Operate with awareness of GxP, CSV/CSA, data integrity, privacy, cybersecurity, and SOP requirements.
Continuous Improvement
- Track progress against implementation metrics (test readiness, training readiness, cutover readiness).
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to improving templates and delivery practices.
- Apply internal PM standards and participate in PM community learning.
Required Skills & Experience
- A solid foundation of experience in Project Management or Project Coordination.
- Strong planning, organisation, and follow‑up discipline.
- Ability to track actions, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Experience in a GxP‑regulated environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Experience with project documentation, reporting, and governance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of regulated IT systems, validation principles, data integrity, privacy, and compliance.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of clinical trials or clinical operations.
- Experience in pharma, biotech, healthcare, or clinical research.
- Exposure to clinical system implementation projects.
- Experience with CSV/CSA.
- Knowledge of data privacy, cybersecurity, change management, vendor management.
- Experience with PM tools (MS Project, Planisware, Jira, Smartsheet).
- CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation, Agile/Scrum certifications.
- Knowledge of Certara and/or Veeva.
- Basic AI/Copilot literacy.
