IT Enterprise Architect – Telecoms & Technology

We are looking for an experienced IT Architect to take responsibility for defining and governing the organisation’s enterprise IT architecture across applications, data, infrastructure, cloud, hybrid platforms, integration, and security.

You will translate business strategy into target architectures, architectural principles, standards, and technology roadmaps, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, cost-effective, and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and maintain the overall enterprise IT architecture, including application, data, infrastructure, cloud, hybrid and integration architecture.
- Develop target architectures, reference architectures, technology standards, and roadmaps.
- Review and govern solution designs to ensure architectural consistency and alignment with agreed standards.
- Make and document key architectural and technology decisions, including risks and trade-offs.
- Provide strategic architectural advice to senior management and business stakeholders.
- Support digital transformation, IT modernisation, and innovation programmes.
- Ensure solutions are secure by design, resilient, scalable, and compliant.
- Identify architectural risks and work with security and technical teams on mitigation.
- Work across development, infrastructure, operations, security, and vendor teams to ensure architectural alignment.
- Monitor emerging technologies and identify opportunities for technology optimisation and innovation.

Required Experience





- Proven experience as an IT Architect, Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, or similar senior architectural role.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Application & Integration Architecture
- Data & Information Architecture
- Infrastructure Architecture
- Cloud & Hybrid Environments
- Security Architecture & Best Practices
- Enterprise Architecture & Technology Governance
- Experience making strategic technology decisions with long-term impact.
- Experience with digital transformation and modernisation programmes.
- Experience within complex, multi-domain IT environments.
- Exposure to both IT and telecom infrastructure is highly desirable.
