Experteer Overview
In this role you will contribute to the design and analysis of tunnel ventilation and fire safety systems, applying CFD tools and ventilation simulations to support safe, compliant infrastructure projects. You will work with cross-disciplinary teams to develop models, calculations, and technical documentation that guide design decisions. The position offers hands-on experience with industry-standard software and a pathway to grow in a global engineering environment. You will help deliver infrastructure that improves communities and supports safe, efficient transit systems.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Develop ventilation models and engineering assessments under supervision
• Prepare engineering calculations, ventilation layouts, mechanical drawings, equipment sizing, and specifications
• Support simulation model development for tunnel ventilation and fire scenarios
• Develop 1D (SES, IDA Tunnel) and 3D (FDS/PyroSim) ventilation and fire models; support occupant egress analyses (Pathfinder)
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated tunnel and station designs
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards




• Participate in technical meetings, reviews, and design workshops
• Support space proofing and maintenance studies for TVS components
• Contribute to reports, presentations, and engineering documentation

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, aerospace, civil, mining, or related)
• Desirable training in tunnel ventilation, fire safety engineering, or CFD
• up to 2 years of related experience
• Knowledge of fluid dynamics and simulation-based design
• Familiarity with SES, IDA Tunnel, FDS, PyroSim, ANSYS Fluent advantageous
• Basic scripting (Python, VBA) advantageous
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and CAD; Revit advantageous
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
