Experteer Overview
In this role you help launch and operate the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) within AWS, building high-availability services for EU customers. You work with global teams to shape operations, drive reliability, and improve performance for key AWS services. You contribute to operational excellence through automation, scripts, and knowledge sharing while engaging in on-call rotations. This is a mission-driven opportunity to influence cloud delivery at scale for Europe.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Oversee ESC launch and ongoing operations for high-availability AWS services (EC2, S3, Dynamo, Lambda, Bedrock) for EU customers
• Collaborate with technology leaders to improve day-to-day operations and system reliability
• Identify anomalies in service health and produce actionable bug reports to boost efficiency
• Provide feedback on change management and help address operational backlog
• Develop and test automation scripts to streamline workflows




• Educate service teams about ESC complexities and share knowledge
• Engage in 24x7 on-call rotations to resolve incidents and ensure fault-tolerance
• Foster collaboration with global AWS teams to influence service evolution
• Contribute to scalable service delivery and reliable user experiences for EU customers

Responsabilidades
• EU national and resident in the EU
• Bachelor in Computer Science or related IT discipline, or equivalent experience
• Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or Ruby) or software development (Java, TypeScript, or similar) with Linux and networking fundamentals
