Experteer Overview
In this role you will design and maintain scalable backend services using Scala 2.13 and Play, built on a Pekko-based stack, to support complex workflows in a large-scale cloud enterprise product. You will contribute to platform modernization, performance improvements, and robust integrations, aligning with cross-functional product goals. The position is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in the Barcelona office. You will drive reliable, high-availability services and collaborate with multiple teams to shape the product’s technical direction.

Responsabilidades
• Proven experience developing backend services using Scala and Play Framework
• Experience with Pekko-based stacks
• Strong understanding of scalable, fault-tolerant backend architectures
• Cloud-based systems experience and familiarity with enterprise-scale products
• API design and integrations proficiency
• Performance optimization and monitoring
• Comfort with cross-functional collaboration and sharing technical decisions
• Knowledge of modern backend best practices (testing, CI/CD, security)
