Are you interested in building your career in laboratory analysis in Mallorca? A biological analysis company based in Palma is looking for a motivated Chemical Laboratory Technician to join their technical team. In this role, you will carry out essential testing procedures on water and food samples, contributing to public health and safety standards across the island.

Core Responsibilities

- Performing physicochemical analyses on diverse food products and water samples

- Testing water from various origins and hygiene standards, including drinking water for human consumption and swimming pool water

- Recording and processing test data accurately in accordance with quality and safety protocols

- Maintaining clean, organized laboratory workstations and ensuring proper handling of equipment and reagents

Qualifications

- Completed higher vocational training degree (Cicle formatiu de grau superior / FP Superior) in chemistry,



laboratory analysis, or a related field

- Excellent command of Spanish, both written and spoken (essential)

- Knowledge of Catalan is considered a valuable plus

- A valid category B driving licence is advantageous but not strictly mandatory

- No prior professional experience is required, making this an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain valuable practical experience

What the company offers you

- A permanent contract (contrato xqbhyrx indefinido) providing long-term job stability

- A gross monthly salary of 1,406.69 EUR in 12 payments, with extra payments already included

- A work schedule of 39.5 hours per week scheduled from Monday through Sunday, with the corresponding regular rest days

- Rotating shifts: morning shift from 7:00 to 15:00 and afternoon shift from 12:00 to 20:00
