As an Electrical Engineer in railway traction power, you contribute to design development and reliability across projects within a multidisciplinary team. You lead technical solutions, uphold safety and design standards, and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver robust traction power systems. The role blends design, analysis, and reporting to ensure scalable, safe operations and long-term performance. You will work on impactful infrastructure projects that shape mobility and sustainability at scale. This is a globally connected opportunity within a leading infrastructure firm.
Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Contribute to design development across project stages for traction power systems and substations, including risk assessment and value engineering
• Develop electrical studies and support TPS simulations for sizing and location of equipment
• Space-proofing design for TPS installations including cable routing
• Produce technical reports, specifications, and coordinate drawings/BoQ with BIM/CAD teams




• Ensure adherence to design practices and standards (CENELEC, ANSI, IEEE)
• Maintain technical and safety standards throughout design to ensure reliable implementation
• Define interfaces and participate in coordination/design team meetings
• Integrate design processes within the System Engineering and System Assurance (SESA) framework
• Attend design reviews and defend designs to clients or independent reviewers
Responsabilidades
• Electrical engineer with proven railway traction power experience (7 years minimum)
• Proficient xqbhyrx English communication for project development
• Experience with ETAP software
• Desirable: railway electrification design, substations, grounding/bonding, protection systems, and control systems at substation level
• Knowledge of electrical standards and safety in railway contexts
• Good CAD/BIM awareness (desirable)
• French or Italian language skills (desirable)
