In this role, you lead International IDS and ICM across EU, LATAM, AMET, and APAC, guiding design and change execution for Amazon’s fulfilment network. You’ll shape multi-year strategy for design standardisation, BIM automation, modular configuration, and change management, while owning an operating model that drives integral scalability. You’ll partner with Operations, Construction, Network Planning, and Technology to implement automation and tooling, delivering significant productivity gains. • Lead IDS and ICM across multiple regions and teams (ODT, MDT, DI) to deliver end-to-end design and change services for the fulfilment network
• Define multi-year strategy for design standardisation, BIM automation, modular configuration, and change management across international regions
• Own the operating model delivering a unified customer experience regardless of region or mile
• Drive technology adoption through Nucleus (design integration), Laminar (change tracking), and AI-driven automation to boost productivity




• Transition from project-based design execution to product-based configuration via modularisation and pre-engineered design packages
• Balance 150+ projects annually across diverse building types and regions while pursuing year-over-year efficiency and u003e$10M annual cost avoidance
• Build partnerships with Operations, Construction, Network Planning, Technology, RME, and external partners to showcase GECS capabilities globally
• Present to senior leadership, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and scale mechanisms that raise design quality and change execution
• Shape the future of engineering automation at scale by expanding design automation and modular construction approaches
• Manage a geographically dispersed team of Design Managers, Module Designers, and Change Management professionals
Responsabilidades xqbhyrx
• English fluency C1 or higher
• Experience leading engineering design projects and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience with global cross-functional teams
• Experience using data and metrics to influence leadership and drive organizational change
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or country equivalent
• Experience defining/executing strategic plans delivering measurable efficiency improvements (10%+ YoY)
• Experience building scalable process-improvement/operational-excellence mechanisms across dispersed teams
• Experience with BIM, CAD, or large-scale engineering design delivery
