This division brings together mission management, supply chain, and quality & product assurance to make sure every mission is delivered smoothly, reliably, and to the highest standards. They turn plans into action, keeping us efficient and mission-ready at all times.Our Supply Chain team ensures every Open Cosmos mission is supported by the right materials, suppliers and delivery plans to build and launch our satellite platforms successfully.That’s where you come in.We’re looking for an Inventory & Logistics Coordinator to support the day-to-day control, movement and tracking of materials, components and equipment across our satellite programmes.What will you be doing?Receiving, logging and storing incoming components, tools and consumablesManaging goods in / goods out processes to ensure accurate stock movementsMaintaining accurate inventory records across internal systems and spreadsheetsSupporting stock counts, audits and reconciliation activitiesHighlighting low stock levels, shortages or discrepanciesMaintaining clean,
organised and safe lab and storage areasSupporting tool tracking and shared equipment availabilityAssisting engineering teams in locating materials and equipmentCoordinating inbound and outbound shipments of satellite hardware and equipmentLiaising with freight forwarders and couriers to book shipments and track deliveriesPreparing shipping documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, airway bills)Coordinating with internal teams to align shipments with production schedulesSupporting logistics cost tracking and invoice processingWhat You’ll bringUnderstanding of inventory control, goods handling or warehouse/logistics processesConfidence managing data accurately within inventory or ERP systemsUnderstanding of stock tracking, delivery coordination and material movementsStrong attention to detail and data accuracyGood organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasksClear communication skills with internal teams and external partnersThis role will be based onsite at our premises in Barcelona, Spain.To apply, you must have the legal right to work in Spain.Why Open Cosmos?Work at the cutting edge of space technology with customers around the globe.A mission-driven company making space accessible to help solve real-world challenges.A diverse, ambitious, and supportive team.
