Are you an experienced Cook wanting flexibility, great hourly rate and wanting your weekends/nights back? McArthur are looking for reliable, hardworking Cooks to work in our highly resourced Early Childhood Kitchens Choose your days, hours and location
We offer both short term and long term assignments
The role of an Early Childhood cook involves preparing fresh and nutritional meals for children aged 0-5 years.
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in a similar childcare kitchen environment - or in other fields such as Aged Care/Hospital.
Responsibilities include (in accordance with the Victorian Food Safety Act):




- Preparing all meals in a timely manner
- Completing all required documentation
- Ensuring all dietary requirements are met
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment

Requirements include:
- Experience in a similar role (such as Early Childhood, Aged Care or Hospital settings)
- Certificate III in Commercial Cooking and/or Diploma in Hospitality/Food Handlers Certificate
- Valid Working with Children Check, Police Check (with 6 months)
- Valid First Aid and Anaphylaxis Certificates (and/or willing to complete)
