Amentum is seeking a Facility Lead, Mechanical & Plumbing to support a unique US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia. The Facility Lead, Mechanical & Plumbing will oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical and plumbing systems, ensuring their continual performance and operational integrity in accordance with contract specifications and applicable standards.

Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise the maintenance, repair, and operational performance of all mechanical and plumbing systems, facilities, and equipment as outlined in the technical sub-annex.
- Ensure all facilities, systems,



and equipment are maintained to a standard that prevents deterioration beyond normal wear and tear and that deficiencies are corrected in a timely manner to maximize life expectancy.
- Manage the preventative maintenance programs for mechanical and plumbing facilities and systems, focusing on HVAC units, water supply systems, drainage, septic systems, boilers, pumps, and related infrastructure.
- Perform system inspections and ensure timely corrective actions to address deficiencies and maintain optimal operational performance.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Lead a team of mechanical and plumbing technicians, providing mentorship and ensuring effective workflow, timely completion of maintenance tasks, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
