The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

As a Guest Assistant (front office agent), you will be responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience throughout the entire stay, from check-in and check-out to their interactions with the hotel team and facilities.

You will welcome and assist guests, respond to enquiries, manage calls and emails, process payments and invoices, and support the Front Office team with daily operational tasks. You will also act as an expert on the hotel and its surroundings,



providing recommendations and information to exceed guest expectations.

The role includes building strong relationships with new and returning guests, promoting additional hotel services and opportunities to increase revenue, and creating positive interactions both in person and by phone. You will work closely with the Lobby team and other operational departments to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience.

You will also contribute to maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming lobby area, ensuring that hotel quality standards are consistently met.

The Guest Assistant reports to the Guest Assistant Supervisor and/or Guest Assistant Manager and works collaboratively with the Lobby team and other operational departments.

Qualifications:

-Degree or vocational training in Hospitality, Tourism, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

-Minimum 2 years of previous experience in a hotel Front Office or Reception role.
