The Commercial Finance Director EMEA is a newly created full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Barcelona Metropolitan Area. This role oversees commercial finance activities across the EMEA region, partnering with sales, operations, and senior leadership to drive profitable growth and support strategic decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading customer financial planning and forecasting processes, developing commercial business plans, analyzing commercial customer segment performance, providing data-driven insights on pricing, margins, and investments, and reviewing new business opporunities. The Commercial Finance Director EMEA will design and track key performance indicators, challenge financial assumptions, and ensure accurate reporting and compliance with MCC’s financial policies.
The role also involves creating a team and mentoring finance team members, improving commercial finance processes and tools, and contributing to regional and general projects that enhance efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

Strong Commercial Finance and Finance skills,



with experience supporting commercial and regional leadership.
Proficiency in Financial Planning and Business Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
Experience in an international or EMEA-focused role, ideally within manufacturing, packaging, or a related industry.
Proficiency with financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP, BI platforms, advanced Excel or data analysis tools).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Proven leadership capabilities, including team development and cross-border collaboration.
Relevant university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, ACCA, CIMA) are a plus.
