Therefore, being a NEXTER means that your career and talent become meaningful to you and those around you, allowing you to build what matters most to you and reach your next level.We are looking for a OpenShift Engineer to join our team for a multinational leader in the financial sector.Key Responsibilities:Operate, maintain and support Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform environments, ensuring secure, highly available and performant clustersOwn the reliability and observability of Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms, proactively identifying risks before they become incidentsLead the response to production degradations, conduct post-mortems and drive systemic fixes to eliminate repeat failuresDesign and implement Ansible playbooks for automated deployment, configuration management, rolling upgrades and day-to-day operations across Kubernetes and OpenShift clustersBuild Python tooling to automate health checks, operational workflows, alerting integrations and pipeline diagnosticsWork closely with DevOps, SRE, Application and Security teams to resolve platform issues, conduct onboarding sessions, technical workshops and produce runbooksEnforce change-management policies for upgrades, configuration changes and access controlDrive capacity planning, cluster scaling and architecture improvements in collaboration with senior and platform engineersParticipate in an on-call rotation with a strong culture of sustainable incident managementSkills:Essential:Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift 3.x and 4.x, including installation, upgrades and day-to-day administrationStrong understanding of Kubernetes primitives such as Pods, Deployments, Services, Ingress,



CRDs and OperatorsStrong Linux/Unix fundamentals and confidence diagnosing issues at infrastructure levelOpenShift SDN/OVN, Ingress/Egress, Service Mesh basics, Load Balancers, NetworkPolicy, CSI drivers, persistent volumes and snapshotsAnsible, Terraform, Helm, OpenShift Operator SDK and Bash/Python scriptingExperience with Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana and Opentelemetry basicsDesirable:4–6 years of Linux/Unix system administration or cloud platform engineering experienceAt least 2–3 years dedicated to OpenShift/Kubernetes administration in productionExperience managing clusters of 200 or more nodes and 2,000 or more PodsMulti-cluster or multi-region operations experienceExperience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, Bitbucket or Argo CDExperience working in ITIL environments, including change control, incident management and request managementKnowledge of Process & Quality management and Agile principles including Scrum and KanbanExperience with ServiceNow and CyberArkJob Conditions & Benefits:Permanent contract.Work Mode: Hybrid, 4 days onsite/ per month (Madrid)Competitive salary.Professional Development: Access to an annual budget dedicated to advancing your skills through professional certifications.Join our expert team, where creativity, commitment and the ability to bring new perspectives are essential to make a difference in a world full of opportunities.Are you ready for your NEXT LEVEL?In Lognext we are committed to equality between women and men and as proof of this we have a registered and published Lognext Equality Plan.
