The Buyer is a commercially-driven strategist who owns the category's growth by identifying market trends and leading critical negotiations from trading terms and budgets to distribution agreements with general brands. Operating with high autonomy, this role bridges the gap between trend and data, transforming weekly trade insights into immediate sales actions and presenting curated ranges to the senior leadership teamWhat You'll Be DoingRepresenting the Buying function on relevant fascia and categoryAttending all appointments, with involvement in selection and editing of productAttending all product launches throughout the year as specifiedAttending all relevant trade showsAnalysis and review of previous weeks sales with the merchandising department to propose and drive actions for the week aheadNegotiation with selected brands re trading terms and conditions.Being constantly aware of new brands and opportunities to diversify and drive department/category salesBudget negotiation and planning within internal teams and external brandsNegotiation with brands re distribution agreementsWorking independently in a creative and trend led environmentManaging budgets and OTB on in seasons and forward budgetsPresent ranges for sign off with Senior Buyers, Buying Director and Merchandising Director.Preparation and presentation of performance in trade meetingsProposals to assist driving sales in your relevant departmentWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics, or a related field.At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.Advanced Excel skills.High English level (C1)Extensive knowledge of the product market, our store base, and website.Essential experience in buying branded goods,
