In this role, you will be responsible for executing accounting and reporting activities within the Accounts Payable area of Procure to Pay, ensuring timely payments’ settlement and vendor queries’ resolution for Germany and Austria. You will also have the opportunity to participate in ongoing projects.ResponsibilitiesProcess purchase and cost invoices and credit notes within the agreed timeframe, maintaining high service quality and efficiencyReconcile vendors´ statements; Resolution of debit balancesFollow up proactively on disputed and overdue invoicesHandle incoming queries from vendors and businessCollect, analyze, and interpret data to produce reports, both monthly and ad-hoc ones;Month-end closing activitiesPayment runs preparation; Collaboration with other departments to enable smooth settlement of payablesEnsure service levels and quality standards of provided services (KPI, SLA)Build effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders within the local entities;Participate in emerging projects - e.g., process transitions, continuous improvements, procedures standardization, etc.Other duties as assigned (possibly supporting other areas like:



Accounts Receivable or General Ledger)QualificationsEnglish fluency required; German is a plus3 – 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable ideally embedded in a Shared Service CenterSolid accounting skills and understanding of accounting principlesStrong proficiency in Excel and SAPTaking ownership of assigned responsibilitiesStrong interpersonal and organizational skills along with excellent written and verbal communication capabilitiesProblem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detailAbility to learn new skills easily and readiness to broaden your knowledgeAn effective team-player with energy and enthusiasmProactive and creative in terms of continuous improvements of ways of working;Flexibility to adapt in a changing environment with a positive attitudeOfferFixed-term contract of 6 monthsCompetitive remuneration package: fixed part + bonus paid 2 times a year in March and September.
