This role involves executing and optimizing manual and automated tests, conducting thorough testing processes, and collaborating with team members to support automation practices. The position is integral to maintaining compliance with medical industry standards while contributing to ongoing innovation in diabetes management technologies.Main ResponsibilitiesPerform testing on a wide range of mobile devices (different brands and models), creating and updating datasets for automation scriptsConduct BLE and NFC compatibility testing across various devices and operating systemsTailor manual testing solutions to meet the specific needs of the medical industry, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and operational efficiencyIdentify and propose improvements to testing processes that increase efficiency and reliabilityProduce clear, high-quality documentation for all testing systems and updates, ensuring compliance with medical industry standardsDevelop and maintain automation scripts using Java and/or PythonReview System Specifications/Requirements documents,



user stories and create verification test cases (based on those requirements) and execute test casesReview deliverables/activities as identified in the test plans for accuracy, consistency, completeness and compliance. Ensure adequate test coverage for every release.Review code diff analysis and contribute to robust regression test strategyInvestigate and report unexpected events, issues or software bugs, verify fixesRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field (± 16 years)2+ years' experience in Mobile Testing (iOS/Android)Experience in BLE testingModerate level of understanding of test-driven methodologiesModerate knowledge of Agile methodologiesHands‑on experience writing or maintaining automation scripts in Java and/or PythonStrong analytical & problem-solving skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within cross‑functional teamsExcellent oral and written communication skills in EnglishDemonstrated success in technical proficiency, creativity, and independent thoughtNice-to-havesExperience of working in a regulated industryMedical Device experience strongly preferredSmart Watch or wearable application testing experienceModerate level of knowledge with continuous integration & continuous development (CI/CD)
