Active---## Job OverviewMSF-OCBA (Operational Centre Barcelona-Athens) is seeking an Applications Technician for its eHealth and Operations Applications Team (Apps4Ops).

This is a full-time, permanent position based at any MSF-OCBA hub; final location depends on the selected candidate’s residency and work permit eligibility.

Closing date August 30, 2026.The role translates operational needs into technical requirements and scalable solutions, develops and maintains applications supporting field operations, provides technical support to globally distributed users, designs and optimizes data models and databases,



ensures compliance with information security standards, and contributes to training and documentation.

Occasional short field visits for training or application support are expected.Requirements:

Technical background in Information Technology, Software Development, or a related field

3+ years of experience in a similar role, including application development lifecycle and troubleshooting

Strong knowledge of SQL databases, scripting/automation (JavaScript, Node.js), and front-end customization

Fluent English required; French, Spanish, Arabic, or Portuguese an asset

- Experience with AWS/Azure, Microsoft Power Platform, or MSF-relevant tools (DHIS2, KoBo) an asset
