Role DescriptionWorking in the EMERGE Global Acceleration team, you will be responsible for strategic and tactical research on companies, technologies, and the global innovation ecosystem. You will work closely with the EMERGE Community Manager, Producers, Mentors, and other GDM Business Units.

Industry Trend Research
Review and summarise global technology trends including AI, Fintech, EduTech, Automotive, Medtech, Wellnesstech, Entertainment and Greentech.
Identify key players in investment and startup/SME.
Public Sector Insights
Summarise grants and programmes run by general governments.
Liaise with government agencies.
AI Training Data Preparation and Predictive Model Review
Create and clean CSV files.
Monitor and refine training data.
Work with the COGNIAI Team to develop predictive models for matching and business growth.
Company Research (Online And Offline)
Provide company insights.
Create data summaries.
Update company database.
Support EMERGE mentors in market readiness assessments.
Visualisations, Reports and Presentations
Create ecosystem summaries.
Generate company summaries using provided templates.
Support EMERGE deployments.
Strategy Tool Creation
Collaborate with other practices to develop new online/offline strategy tools and templates for MOJO projects,



focusing on data-driven AI tools.
Professional Development Contents
Develop materials for professional development courses (case studies).
Support MOJO Academy and EMERGE instructors in their research activities.

Skills
Postgraduate degree in Digital Business, Digital Innovation, Design Strategy, Digital Strategy, Economics, Politics or International Business.
Proficiency in Porter’s 5 forces analysis, the Red Ocean/Blue Ocean model, the Strageizer Business Canvas, and Design Thinking.
Appreciation of the central role of design in technology application.
Proven experience in Gaming, AdTech, Agritech, EdTech, MedTech, Design, and SmartCity applications.
1–3 years of relevant work experience.
Excellent written English.
English proficiency (IELTS ≥ 6.5 or equivalent TOEIC 820/EIKEN Grade 1).
Fluency in a second language (Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Spanish).

Excellent communicator of both basic concepts and complex strategies.
