In this Commissioning Engineer role, you’ll work for a integral business that designs and builds advanced automated systems to help customers manage their logistics and supply chains. Software Commissioning Engineer Responsibilities





Write and configure software programs to control automated machinery, tailored to each customer’s requirements

Travel internationally (50–60% of the time) to customer sites to carry out installation and commissioning

Lead on‑site testing, integration, and configuration, working alongside various technical specialists

Train customer staff and provide support ahead of system go‑live

Act as a key point of contact for customers on‑site, delivering clear communication and good service

Collaborate with internal teams throughout the project to ensure successful delivery

Hand over completed projects to the relevant departments once commissioning is complete

Experience & requirements for the role

Knowledge of object‑orientated programming (C++, C# or Java)

Relational database knowledge in SQL or Oracle and Linux

Ability to work in collaboration with internal and external project teams

Ability to speak English with technical conversations as a minimum, being
