and the opportunity to work with a respected national hire company — this role is worth serious consideration.The RoleYou Will Be Responsible ForMechanical and electrical troubleshooting onsite and in workshopRepairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, hydraulics and equipment systemsPreventative servicing and fleet reliabilityCoordinating parts procurement and supplier communicationUsing modern diagnostics and testing equipmentMaintaining accurate service recordsProviding technical support to customers and team membersReading hydraulic and electrical schematicsEnsuring compliance with safety and environmental standardsThis role offers strong autonomy, responsibility and the opportunity to be a key contributor in a high-performing regional branch.What We’re Looking ForTrade qualified Diesel Technician / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / FitterMinimum 2+ years practical experience (more highly regarded)Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilityAbility to work independently and manage your workloadProfessional communication skills and customer focusVictorian driver’s licenceHR & EWP licence (desirable)Forklift licence (desirable)Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
