One of our clients is actively building a talent pool of high-caliber BIM professionals in Madrid to support upcoming, high profile Data Centre (CPD) construction projects. ABOUT THE ROLE

As the BIM Manager (MEP Focus) , you will lead the digital delivery and BIM coordination strategy for complex Data Centre developments. Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, and trade contractors, you will oversee model integration, drive clash resolution for heavy MEP installations, and ensure strict adherence to BIM standards throughout the project lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Strategic BIM Management: Develop and execute BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project information requirements tailored for Data Centre developments and mission-critical environments.
- MEP Coordination & Model Management: Oversee 3D modeling, clash detection, and multidisciplinary coordination, focusing on complex mechanical and electrical systems (HVAC, public health, low/medium voltage, cooling infrastructure, etc.). CDE Administration: Configure, manage, and maintain Common Data Environments (Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360 or similar).




- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all models, technical drawings, and quantity take-offs comply with client standards, ISO 19650, and project specifications.
- Stakeholder Leadership: Lead BIM coordination meetings with design engineers, contractors, and client representatives; provide guidance and technical direction to BIM coordinators and modelers.

EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND:

- Educational Background: Degree in Architecture, Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant Experience: Proven track record (5+ years) in BIM Management / Senior Coordination with explicit expertise in MEP installations and complex infrastructure.
- Sector Expertise: Demonstrated experience in Data Centres / CPDs or mission-critical/industrial facilities is highly valued. Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, Solibri, and CDE platforms (ACC / BIM 360, Dynamo is a plus).
- Language Skills: Advanced/Fluent English is essential (project language). Spanish proficiency is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, and team coordination capabilities.
