Responsibilities
Manage all procurement activities for ocean and land transportation of bulk and finished goods, including warehousing services
Develop strategic supplier relationships and contracts
Establish relationships with 4PL providers for smooth transition to new ways of working, standardized operations, and effective carrier communication
Collaborate with regional procurement teams and general logistics operations teams
Optimize cost, transit time, service, and payment terms with suppliers
Provide category intelligence, industry benchmarks, trends, and best practices
Plan sourcing activities and coordinate data for competitive bidding, RFQs, and e-auctions
Secure service level agreements defining carrier KPIs and responsibilities
Identify continuous improvement opportunities with supply centres and markets
Participate in Supplier Relationship Management programs, track KPIs, and build improvement action plans
Monitor performance against annual budgets and highlight risks and opportunities with Finance
Ensure compliance with procurement and contract management policies
Build and implement category strategy for cost, service, and ESG goals
Integrate sustainability into sourcing, contracting, and supplier selection
Mitigate supply chain disruptions through carrier network diversification and contingency planning
Requirements
Solid business judgement and ability to anticipate impacts of decisions and initiatives
Financial acumen and problem-solving skills
Advanced procurement practice skills
Proficiency in spoken and written English
Master or equivalent degree in Business Management, Science, Engineering, or Supply Chain
5–10 years of work experience with progressive leadership roles




Experience with global and regional scope and growing business scale
Exposure to different industries, preferably FMCG, food, and beverage
Broad logistics experience across transportation, warehousing, customs and excise, and S&OP; processes
Strong background in procurement processes and methodologies, including category management, supplier management, and sourcing
Proven change-management and project-management experience
Familiarity with key business strategies, objectives, and dimensions of business value
Financial acumen and entrepreneurial thinking
Core Competencies
Demonstrates advanced procurement practices, strategic supplier relationship management, and financial acumen to optimize logistics operations and drive cost-effective sourcing strategies. Capable of integrating sustainability into procurement processes while ensuring compliance with policies and managing performance metrics.
