Are you a creative and resourceful campaigner who knows how to turn an important cause into a powerful public initiative?

HazteOír is seeking a Media Campaigner to bring our online campaigns into the public square through bold, visible, and strategically designed offline activities. This is your opportunity to organize rallies, petition deliveries, creative public initiatives, advertising campaigns, and media engagement that capture attention and strengthen campaigns related to life, family, and freedom.

You will help transform digital mobilization into meaningful, real-world engagement. Your work will make our campaigns more visible, expand their reach, attract media attention, and help ensure that the voices of HazteOír members are heard by decision-makers. You will be on the front lines, turning public concern into constructive action and action into meaningful results.

About the Role

Media Campaigners are at the heart of HazteOír’s integrated advocacy work. While Campaigners mobilize supporters through petitions and digital communications, Media Campaigners bring those campaigns into the public square through bold, creative, and strategically designed offline activities.

In this role, you will transform campaign objectives into visible public initiatives. Depending on the campaign, your activities may be designed to attract new supporters, generate media coverage, expand the reach of campaign content, inform the public, or encourage constructive engagement with decision-makers.

You will also build relationships with journalists, influencers, community advocates, partner organizations, and other strategic contacts who can expand the reach and impact of our work. Because many of these activities take place publicly, you will regularly represent HazteOír at events and in the media.

Media Campaigners report to the Media Campaigns Manager.

What You'll Do

- You will organize offline actions: propose, handle, evaluate, and develop offline actions like public events, petition deliveries, awareness initiatives, etc.
- You will develop and implement effective media strategies that advance campaign objectives and strengthen the HazteOír brand through impactful offline activities.
- You will organize campaign actions and logistics, from ad buys to public petition deliveries, and support with general logistical needs.
- You will support campaign deliveries on the ground.
- You will support the execution of high-profile press coverage on key campaigns and for profile pieces.
- You will draft press releases, opinion pieces, talking points, and other communications with clear and compelling messaging.




- You will step in to support campaign teams with other needs to ensure campaigns are successful, providing direct support to senior staff, campaign fact-checking, issue research, and email drafting.
- You will monitor national and international developments to identify timely campaign opportunities, consult with experts, and help develop effective strategies, policy positions, and messaging.
- You will develop media relationships with editors and senior journalists who will cover and report on HazteOír's work in key territories.
- You will develop professional relationships with editors and senior journalists who may cover HazteOír’s work in key regions.
- You will participate in public speaking and media activities and help prepare colleagues for interviews and public appearances.
- You will identify opportunities for appropriate legal support or consultation that may complement campaign activities.
- You will build relationships with organizations, influencers, community advocates, volunteers, public affairs professionals, and other relevant stakeholders to expand the reach and impact of our campaigns and offline activities.
- You will follow up on ongoing legal matters managed by external legal advisors.

Who you are

- You are based in Madrid or the surrounding area.
- You are enthusiastic about HazteOír’s mission and committed to supporting our campaigns.
- You are comfortable representing HazteOír publicly, particularly when leading or supporting offline events and on-site campaign activities.
- You can work independently across a range of tasks and projects, take initiative, and follow responsibilities through to completion.
- You are available to participate in on-site campaigns and public events when required.
- You communicate in Spanish at a professional level and have at least B2-level proficiency in English. (Duolingo English Test required for non-natives, minimum score of 100). Any other languages are a plus.
- You are comfortable using Artificial Intelligence in your day-to-day work and continuously look for opportunities to build, test, and document more effective AI-powered workflows.
- You are a collaborative team member who regularly contributes original and creative ideas.
- You possess strong strategic, creative, and innovative thinking skills.
- You understand the perspectives, interests, and communication preferences of our members and can create materials that resonate with them.




- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You possess strong problem-solving skills. Offline campaigns frequently require timely decision-making and the ability to resolve unexpected issues. You are comfortable remaining organized and effective in fast-paced situations.
- You can adjust quickly to changing conditions and requirements.
- You demonstrate professionalism, self-motivation, efficiency, and a results-oriented approach, including when working within short timelines.
- You have strong teamwork skills and are comfortable working in a highly collaborative culture with clear reporting lines and responsibilities.
- You possess project management capabilities, including the ability to coordinate multiple fast-paced workstreams and external collaborators.
- You possess strong general computer skills. Experience using Google Workspace is preferred. Familiarity with CRM or project management tools is an asset.
- You are enthusiastic about software tools, have experience using a variety of digital platforms, and can quickly learn and adapt to new ones.
- Any graphic design skills and experience using Canva are an asset.
