From Supply Chain Area and supporting all the areas beneath, we are looking for a Procurement Contracting Logistics Advisor (Maritime Law).

Qualification and Certifications:

1. Law degree (bachelor's or law degree).
2. Specialisation in maritime law or international law with a maritime focus.
3. Master's or master's degree in maritime law, public/private international law, or international arbitration (optional but highly valued).
4. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., charters, maritime safety, IMO courses, patents, or licenses, if applicable in your country).

Key technical knowledge:

- Private and public international law applicable to maritime transport.
- Maritime contracts: charters, contracts of carriage, letters of credit, hull and cargo insurance.
- Knowledge of various types of charter parties, such as voyage charter, time charter..., as well as the variations of different regulatory bodies (BIMCO, The Baltic Exchange, The International Chamber of Shipping, The International Association of Independent Tanker Owners; Classification Societies such as DNV, American Bureau of Shipping, and Bureau Veritas; and maritime information providers such as Lloyd's Register and Clarkson Research.
- Navigation and port regulations: corporate law, competition law, customs, and port regime.
- Marine insurance (hull, cargo, protection, and indemnity policies).
- Knowledge of the limits of liability of logistics companies,



as well as their mandatory insurance coverage.

- Claims Management
- Contractual Negotiations
- English and Spanish Proficiency

Ofrecemos:

- Desarrollo de carrera dentro de un equipo multidisciplinar de proyecto, en un entorno internacional.
- Salario competitivo en función de experiencia aportada, más seguro médico y plan de retribución flexible.
- Contrato indefinido.
- Participación en proyectos de primer nivel y complejidad técnica, de carácter internacional y dentro de un ambiente multicultural.
- Jornada intensiva (35 horas semanales) desde el 15 de junio al 15 de septiembre. Del 1 de febrero al 14 de junio y del 16 de septiembre al 30 de noviembre se realizarían 42 horas semanales…y el resto, 40 horas en flexibilidad horaria de entrada (entre las 7 y las 10) y salida (a partir de las 16:45 pm), viernes intensivo y 2 días de teletrabajo a la semana.
- Ubicación: oficinas en Madrid (zona Norte).

Responsible for the following activities:

Corporate:

1. Participate in preparation of new packages of the procurement contracting conditions to cover particular market needs.
2.



Participate in the improvement of the standards of the procurement contracting conditions to adapt them to the current market needs by monitoring and analysing amendments, modifications and deviations from the project procurement contracting conditions in coordination with the involved departments/areas.
3. Supporting other procurement departments in implementing the procurement contracting conditions by aligning them with their procedures.
4. Facilitate the understanding with the Legal Department and other disciplines (e.g. taxes, compliance, project administration, insurance, sustainability and similar) related to contractual matters.
5. Preparation/revision of contractual conditions of corporate agreements related to the Procurement area.
6. Training on the contracting conditions.
7. Advising of general doubts related to contractual matters.

Projects:

1. Monitoring and supervising the correct preparation of the documents of the Project Procurement Contracting Conditions.
2. Supervising amendments and modifications to the Project Procurement Contracting Conditions to guarantee coherence and risk mitigation with Project requirements and needs.
3. Monitoring the alignment of the Project Procurement contractual requirements across the disciplines involved.
4. Monitoring the correct compilation and file of the Project Procurement Contracting Conditions.
5. Advising the Seller’s/Subcontractor’s deviations from the Project Procurement Contracting Conditions.
6. Solving doubts, conflicts and disagreements related to the Project Procurement Contracting Conditions and Purchase Orders along the Project life cycle.
