Minerva is at the forefront of the industry’s evolution in digitalization and energy transition, and serves its more than 750 customers with efficient, transparent, and environmentally responsible marine fuel solutions.Minerva Bunkering operates from hubs in Geneva, Athens, New York, Singapore, Antwerp, Panama and Las Palmas, is a 100-percent-owned subsidiary of Mercuria Energy Group, one of the world’s largest privately-held energy and commodities companies.The job involves daily oversight of regional bunkering operations for Minerva Bunkering Pte Ltd's Bunker Trading Team, coordinating all aspects of pre- and post-deal trading activities to ensure smooth contract execution.Key Responsibilities:Checking suitability of clients vessels for bunkering operationsWorking on the applicable internal clearances required for each of the planned operationsAction sales and build into the schedule of operationsRegularly update other team members of the planned scheduleAgency coordinationManaging diversions from schedulesMonitor progress of the barges during loading/discharge operationsSend calling instructions to vessels/barges and update internal systems with latest informationManage relationship with Internal and External counterpartiesFollow strictly internal procedures and company's policies.Strict adherence to company’s Code of ConductMaintain spreadsheets with operational/sales data summary for easy reference for bunkering teamAssist in customer complaints/disputes casesAny other assigned dutiesKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:At least 2 years of relevant industry experienceGood planning and organizing skillsGood communication skills and able to work independently as well as in a teamUnderstanding of technical shipping and maritime terminologyEffective problem solver and able to proactively anticipate problemsAble to multi-task and ability to be versátil and work to deadlines under pressureAbility to establish good working relationships with relevant counter partiesGood coordination and planning skills to liaise on tight logistics deadlinesKey Relationships and Department Overview:External - Counterparties, Service Providers, Agents, DisbursementInternal - Commercial Bunker Trading Desks, Operations Teams, Trade Finance, Settlement, Credit, and ComplianceProfile:Self-motivated and highly pro-activeExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsGood team player with an ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
