As Commissioning Piping Supervisor, you will lead field execution, manage pressure testing and line flushes, oversee walkdowns, and work closely with Construction, QA/QC, and Completions teams to transition piping subsystems smoothly into operation.Key ResponsibilitiesPiping Commissioning & Field Execution: Supervise day-to-day piping pre-commissioning activities, including line blowing, chemical cleaning, hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, and chemical passivations.System Walkdowns & Punch Listing: Lead multidisciplinary piping walkdowns; identify, log, and manage punch list items for piping boundaries to drive systems toward Mechanical Completion (MC) and Ready for Commissioning (RFC).System Cleanliness & Re-instament: Ensure all piping systems meet strict cleanliness criteria, oversee valve line-ups, blind installation/removal tracking, and final joint reinstatements.Safety & Permit-to-Work (PTW): Enforce strict site health and safety standards; raise and manage hot work, line breaking,



and pressure testing permits in line with project safety procedures.Quality Assurance & Dossiers: Verify test packages, sign off on piping inspection test records (ITRs), and ensure all redline drawings and vendor documentations are completed accurately for turnover packages.Daily On-Site Coordination: Attend daily commissioning and progress meetings, interface directly with sub-contractors and vendor specialists, and proactively resolve technical queries in the field.RequirementsExperience: Proven experience as a Piping Commissioning Supervisor, Piping Pre-Commissioning Lead, or similar field supervisor role on large-scale industrial, mining, energy, or metallurgical projects.Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of piping codes (ASME B31.3, etc.), valve operation, pressure testing standards, line cleaning procedures, and system turnover processes (MC, RFC,RFSU).Competencies: Strong leadership and field management capabilities, sharp attention to detail regarding technical compliance, and excellent communication skills to coordinate between multiple disciplines.Languages: English proficiency is required; Spanish language skills are a strong asset given the project location.What'son OfferCompetitive contract rate / strong packageAccommodationprovidedOpportunity to work on a major international industrial project in HuelvironmentSilverBack is an equal opportunities employer.
