Econometrics Instructor (AI Training)

About The Role

We're looking for experienced econometrics instructors and quantitative economists to help evaluate and improve AI systems that reason about statistical methods, economic models, and causal inference. Your expertise will directly shape how AI understands and explains some of the most complex quantitative concepts in economics — making a real impact on the next generation of AI tools.

- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

- Review and validate econometric questions, models, and explanations used in AI training datasets
- Assess statistical accuracy, assumptions, and interpretation of results across a range of methods
- Identify errors, edge cases, and logical gaps in AI-generated quantitative reasoning
- Provide structured, actionable feedback to improve model clarity and correctness
- Apply your real-world teaching experience to ensure explanations are both rigorous and accessible
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are





- 3+ years of experience teaching econometrics or quantitative economics at the university level or equivalent
- Strong command of regression analysis, causal inference, time series, and core statistical methods
- Able to clearly evaluate and explain quantitative reasoning in written form
- Comfortable reviewing structured, technical content with precision and consistency
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently

Nice to Have

- Master's or PhD in Economics, Statistics, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with statistical tools such as R, Stata, or Python
- Familiarity with AI model evaluation, annotation workflows, or data labeling platforms
