Senior DevOps Platform Engineer | (GCP & Azure) & Kubernetes

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Platform Engineer to join an international technology hub based in Madrid and play a key role in shaping the next generation of cloud-native platforms used by engineering teams worldwide.

As a Senior DevOps Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, evolving, and operating enterprise-grade platform services focused on reliability, automation, security, and developer experience.
You will work within a highly collaborative international environment, partnering with Product, Software Engineering, Architecture, Data, and Security teams to build scalable foundations that enable innovation across the business.
This is a strategic hands-on role where you'll have the opportunity to drive best practices, mentor colleagues, and contribute to the long-term cloud and platform strategy.

Cloud & Platform Engineering

Design and operate large-scale Kubernetes platforms across Azure and Google Cloud.
Build scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure supporting global applications.
Lead infrastructure standardization through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Improve platform reliability, performance, and scalability.

Automation & Developer Enablement
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications.
Promote GitOps methodologies and deployment automation.




Implement security best practices across cloud and container environments.
Enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability capabilities using modern tooling.
Support incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis initiatives.

Champion DevOps culture, automation, and continuous improvement practices.

5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or SRE roles.
~ Strong expertise with Kubernetes and container technologies.
~ Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
~ Proven background implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
~ Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
~ Experience supporting distributed systems and modern cloud-native architectures.
~ Knowledge of security, governance, and compliance within cloud environments.
~ Experience working within Agile development teams.
~ Fluent English.

Experience with service mesh technologies.
Knowledge of multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.
Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost optimization initiatives.
Experience implementing observability solutions such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, or similar tools.
Exposure to international, multicultural technology organizations.
