Hiring: Senior SQL Server Infrastructure Architect / Consultant (Remote)

Location & Eligibility:
~ Remote role with limited onsite presence (primarily Málaga/Madrid offices when required).

We are hiring an experienced SQL Server Infrastructure Architect/Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and modernization of enterprise SQL Server environments. The role focuses on SQL Server infrastructure, high availability, migrations, automation, security, and platform optimization within highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and document architecture solutions (HLDs, LLDs, and agile artifacts).
Lead technical discussions and customer-facing design workshops.
Drive SQL Server infrastructure modernization, migrations, and transformation initiatives.
Implement and support high availability, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
Develop automation solutions using PowerShell and collaborate with Ansible teams.




Participate in Agile ceremonies and work closely with stakeholders to align on delivery priorities.

Required Skills:
Infrastructure and technical delivery experience.
Strong expertise in SQL Server infrastructure (SQL Server 2019/2022/2025) on Windows Server.
Experience with Always On, Failover Clustering, backup and recovery strategies, and version upgrades/migrations.
Strong PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities.
Experience writing architecture and design documentation (HLD/LLD).
Ability to lead customer meetings, influence design decisions, and communicate effectively in English (B2+).

Preferred Skills:
SQL Server on Linux.
Oracle to SQL Server migration experience.
TDE, Kerberos, certificates, and database security knowledge.
Git and infrastructure automation exposure.
