Risk Analyst – Risk Management Department

The risk analyst will join the Risk Management department, assisting in:

- implementing and maintaining appropriate and documented risk management policy and procedures;
- measuring and managing the risks of UCIs (Master-Feeder structure);
- ensuring compliance of the risk limit system of managed UCIs, including statutory limits concerning global exposure and counterparty risk;
- in assessing the exposure to market, credit, liquidity, counterparty and operational risk;
- adopting adequate and effective arrangements,



processes and techniques in order to measure and manage the risks which the UCIs are or might be exposed to;
- the production of regular reports to be provided to the senior management of a ManCo outlining the current level of risk incurred by each managed UCI and any actual or foreseeable breaches to the set limits, so as to ensure that prompt and appropriate action can be taken;
- the production of regular reports to the authorities when required by the regulation;
- assessing, and, where appropriate, contributing to the effectiveness of asset valuation systems and procedures;
- monitoring the activity of the Fund Administrator in order to manage operational risk arising from NAV calculation

Candidate Requirements

The candidate will be required to show:

- Experience in internal control / operational risk within financial services or regulated environments.
- Solid knowledge of Risk and Control frameworks.
- Experience in risk reporting, including preparation of reports and ability to synthesize complex information for senior management.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand processes and information to support risk identification.
- Experience working in international environments.
- Experience in defining and following up on action plans to reduce risk exposure.
- High level of autonomy and organisation.

Nice-to-Have: Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI or similar tools. Experience supporting audits and regulatory reviews. Exposure to international regulatory frameworks (e.g. DORA, EMIR, CASS, UCITS, etc.) High skills in English as the role is performed in English all the time.
