Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech is seeking a Fabrication Lead to direct and elevate our cleanroom fabrication operations for next-generation quantum hardware

?Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and standardization of fabrication routines to produce coherent analog QPUs, working in high-standard cleanrooms and cutting-edge instrumentation.
- Collaborate with partner companies and research institutes to advance the field of fabrication of superconducting qubit chips.
- Supervise the maintenance of the company’s own fabrication instrumentation.
- Contribute to the measurement and characterization of the fabricated devices to assess their quality.
- Guide and mentor the junior members of the fabrication team, helping them grow and take ownership of the device fabrication process.
- Share tasks and responsibilities and support the general work of Qilimanjaro’s technical team.
- Lead and manage the fabrication team, setting priorities, supporting each member's development to help them grow and perform.
- Oversee and scale Qilimanjaro's internal infrastructure facilities while directing the strategy and utilization of external partner facilities.
- Work Location: Primary workplace is off-site at the ICFO cleanroom facilities, rather than the main company offices.

?Minimum requirements:

- PhD, or an equivalent number of years of experience.
- Demonstrated a strong ability in Fabrication.
- Good command of English language (oral and written), including good reporting skills.
- Team-working, constructive attitude.

?Preferred Skills:

- Long-term experience fabricating superconducting qubits.
- Previous leadership role / experience.
- Infrastructure Strategy & Operations
