Precision Medicine Data Lead (AI Training)

About The Role

What if your expertise in genomics and clinical data could directly shape how AI understands and advances personalized medicine? We're looking for a Precision Medicine Data Lead to help build and refine the AI systems that are transforming healthcare — turning complex biological and clinical datasets into insights that matter.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for experienced professionals in healthcare data, genomics, or life sciences. If you've spent your career making sense of complex health data, this is your opportunity to put that knowledge to work at the frontier of AI.

- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

- Design, evaluate, and optimize pipelines that integrate genomics, clinical records, biomarkers, and other healthcare data into unified analytics frameworks
- Lead analytical strategies that transform integrated datasets into actionable insights for clinical decision support, research applications, and precision medicine initiatives
- Assess AI-generated outputs related to healthcare and genomic data for scientific accuracy, clinical relevance, and practical utility
- Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and technical teams to ensure data quality, regulatory alignment, and strategic coherence
- Communicate complex findings clearly to both scientific and non-technical stakeholders

- Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

- Experienced working with large-scale healthcare, genomic, or life sciences datasets in analytics or data leadership roles
- Strong background in data integration, data governance, and translating complex biological or clinical data into meaningful insights
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with clinical, research, and engineering teams in regulated or highly technical environments
- Detail-oriented and systematic — you hold data to a high standard and know when something doesn't add up
- Clear and confident communicator across both scientific and operational audiences

Nice to Have

- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems
- Familiarity with AI tools, machine learning workflows, or healthcare AI applications
- Background in bioinformatics, computational biology, or clinical informatics
- Experience navigating HIPAA, GDPR, or other healthcare data compliance frameworks

Why Join Us

- Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs and AI development teams
- Fully remote and versátil — work when and where it suits you
- Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, high-impact work
- Contribute directly to AI systems that could reshape how medicine is practiced at scale
- Gain exposure to advanced large language models and how they're trained on specialized scientific domains
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
