We are looking for a Financial Controller with 4–6 years of experience to join the Finance team of a fast-growing international infrastructure investment firm.

The role will work closely with the CFO and provide broad exposure to the company’s financial management, combining accounting, cash flow management, budgeting, financial analysis and reporting.

We are looking for someone with a strong accounting foundation, analytical mindset and a hands-on approach, who is keen to develop into a well-rounded finance professional within an international and growing environment.

Responsibilities

- Support the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts at group level.
- Perform budget vs. presente analysis and identify and explain key deviations.
- Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts, cash positions and liquidity requirements.
- Review accounting information and ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data.
- Analyse balance sheets, P&L; and cash flow statements, understanding the main movements and their underlying drivers.
- Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
- Participate in the preparation and review of financial statements.
- Prepare financial and management reporting for the CFO and senior management.
- Support the coordination of annual audits and liaise with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors and other service providers.




- Perform financial analysis and ad hoc reporting to support business and management decisions.
- Support the improvement of financial controls, reporting processes and internal procedures.
- Participate in automation, systems and process improvement initiatives.
- Support the CFO on different financial and corporate projects as required.

Candidate

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or similar.
- 4–6 years of relevant professional experience.
- Previous experience in Big Four or a leading audit firm is highly valued, particularly candidates with strong exposure to accounting, financial statements and audit of international companies.
- Alternatively, experience as a Financial Controller, ideally within Infrastructure, Energy or another international environment, would be highly valued.
- Strong accounting knowledge and ability to confidently read, understand and analyse a balance sheet, P&L; and cash flow statement.
- Good understanding of cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills. Power BI and experience with financial systems or automation tools would be an advantage.
- Fluent Spanish and English.
- Analytical, structured and detail-oriented.
- Hands-on, proactive and eager to learn, with the flexibility to get involved across different areas of Finance.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, international and fast-growing environment.
