Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Own Balance Sheet and P&L; accounting, including review of ledger balances and identification of variances.
- Perform and review bank, balance sheet, intercompany, and other account reconciliations.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities within defined timelines.
- Prepare and review month-end and year-end closing schedules, journal entries, accruals,



provisions, and adjustments.
- Prepare and analyze P&L;, Balance Sheet, cash flow, and other financial reports for management review.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on significant movements in revenue, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
- Ensure accurate accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed asset accounting.
- Ensure compliance with applicable US GAAP/IFRS and statutory accounting requirements.
- Manage statutory compliance and tax-related activities, including VAT, corporate tax, and other applicable regulatory filings.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure timely closure of audit queries and observations.
- Maintain strong financial controls and accounting processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity, and support management with relevant financial insights.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and other FP&A; activities as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reconciliations, reporting, and financial controls.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong hands-on experience in P&L;, Balance Sheet, General Ledger, reconciliations, and financial closing.
- Experience managing monthly and yearly financial close processes.
- Good understanding of statutory compliance, taxation, and audit requirements.
- Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS will be preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and explain financial variances.
- Good proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict reporting deadlines.
