Head of Finance | Barcelona

? Barcelona area - onsite A well-established consumer business based in the Barcelona area is entering an exciting new phase in its journey, offering the opportunity to help shape and strengthen the Finance function while partnering closely with senior leadership and the wider business.

This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys being close to the business, combining strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, and wants to make a real difference.

What you'll be doing

- Act as a key financial partner to senior leadership, bringing insight and financial perspective into business decisions.
- Develop and continuously improve management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
- Build meaningful KPIs and performance analysis across different areas of the business.
- Partner closely with Commercial, Operations and other teams to understand performance, identify opportunities and support decision-making.
- Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, controls and automation.
- Own cash flow, treasury and working capital planning.
- Lead the Finance function, ensuring robust accounting, closing, compliance and reporting processes.
- Coordinate relationships with external advisors,



auditors and financial partners.
- Help build a scalable Finance function capable of supporting the company's next stage.

What we're looking for

- Strong experience across Finance, ideally combining FP&A; / Controlling with a solid understanding of Accounting.
- A genuinely business-oriented mindset and the ability to translate financial information into action.
- Initiative, ownership and the drive to build and improve rather than simply maintain existing processes.
- Comfortable moving between strategic discussions and hands-on execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders outside Finance.
- Previous experience in consumer-facing businesses such as retail, ecommerce, consumer goods or similar is highly valued.
- Experience leading or developing people.
- Professional fluency in English.
