About Braun Management

Braun Management works with executive teams across German speaking Europe to solve organizational problems that have become too internal to fix. We provide rigorous analysis and honest, evidence-backed conclusions to help leadership teams navigate the complexities of European governance and restructuring.

The role

We are currently supporting a major Spanish financial services firm as they navigate a period of significant structural change.

The Interface Developer

Intern will assist in building the technical connections between legacy systems and new reporting frameworks to ensure data moves accurately across the organization. This position exists to address the technical friction that often occurs when large firms attempt to reorganize their decision rights and reporting lines. In this remote role, you will focus on the practical, unglamorous, but necessary work of ensuring that information flows correctly between different software environments.

What you will do

- Write and test basic scripts to facilitate the exchange of data between disparate software systems and databases.

- Document technical workflows to ensure that the logic behind system integrations is transparent and easy for other team members to follow.

- Assist in identifying sources of operational friction within existing data pipelines and suggest simple technical fixes.

- Participate in the cleaning and formatting of data sets to meet the requirements of new organizational structures.

- Support the technical team in mapping out how organizational permissions and accountability are reflected in software access.

- Monitor the performance of existing interfaces and report any discrepancies in how information is processed or stored.

- Maintain and update internal technical documentation to reflect changes in how systems are integrated.

- Collaborate with consultants to translate organizational requirements into functional technical specifications.

What we are looking for

- A basic understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, gained through studies or personal projects.

- Familiarity with at least one scripting language, such as Python or Ruby, used for simple data manipulation or automation tasks.

- An interest in how complex business systems interact and a desire to understand the underlying structures of large organizations.

- The ability to write clear, concise English and explain technical concepts to colleagues who may not have a technical background.

- Strong attention to detail when reviewing code, checking data accuracy, or writing technical guides.

- A systematic approach to solving problems and a willingness to learn new technical tools as the project requires.

- The ability to work independently while remaining disciplined within a fully remote team environment.

- Basic knowledge of how databases function and how to perform simple queries to retrieve information.

How we work

Braun Management operates as a fully remote team,

relying heavily on written documentation rather than constant video calls. We value precision and the ability to work through difficult problems without unnecessary distraction. Because we are spread across different locations, we prioritize clear, asynchronous communication and a disciplined approach to task management.

Our culture is built on accountability and the belief that structural clarity leads to better business outcomes for our clients. We avoid corporate jargon and focus instead on the evidence that drives meaningful change.

What we offer

This is a paid internship, and the compensation is competitive for the entry-level market and the nature of the work. You will gain direct experience with high-level consulting projects and complex technical environments, working on problems that affect the core operations of a major firm. We provide a structured environment where you can develop your skills alongside experienced professionals who value honest feedback and clear thinking.

The role is entirely remote, allowing for a professional work setup that respects your focus and encourages deep, uninterrupted work.

The work of an Interface Developer Intern is essential to removing the technical barriers that hinder organizational growth. By ensuring that systems are properly connected, you help our clients move past operational friction and toward a clearer path forward. This role provides the technical foundation that allows leadership teams to make informed decisions based on accurate, accessible information.

Your contributions will help translate complex organizational theories into functional technical realities.
