Experteer Overview
As a Senior Traction Control Engineer in the Rolling Stock team, you will define and validate control strategies for next‑gen traction systems, improving safety, efficiency and passenger comfort. You will shape robust traction architectures and drive the full development lifecycle from requirements to commissioning. You collaborate with propulsion, TCMS and vehicle control teams to ensure seamless integration, contributing to a sustainable, digital mobility future.

• Lead development of traction control functions for performance, energy efficiency and passenger comfort
• Shape traction control architectures by translating system requirements with cross-functional input
• Drive end-to-end development lifecycle from requirements and design through testing and commissioning
• Validate and optimize system performance by analyzing converters, electrical machines and drive control
• Develop advanced simulation models to validate strategies and support troubleshooting




• Collaborate across propulsion, TCMS, and vehicle control to ensure system integration

Responsabilidades
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Control Engineering, Mechatronics or related field
• Professional experience in traction control, rail propulsion systems, or power electronics
• Understanding of traction converters, electrical machines, drive control, and vehicle dynamics
• Ability to translate complex requirements into control strategies and software specs
• Strong analytical skills and structured engineering mindset
• Fluency in English (C1) and international teamwork experience
